Your body knows things your mind has been talking over.

The mind is fast, verbal, and very good at constructing convincing explanations for whatever it has already decided. The body is slower, quieter, and considerably harder to deceive.
Body as Compass is a somatic journalling workbook — not a movement manual, not a fitness guide, but a structured practice for paying attention to the intelligence that lives below the neck.
What somatic awareness actually means
You do not need a yoga background or any prior practice. Somatic awareness simply means learning to read the body as information rather than a problem to manage. This workbook builds that skill through written inquiry combined with brief body-awareness exercises before each section.
Practical and grounded
Each section focuses on one dimension of body-as-compass: where tension lives, what sensations accompany specific emotions, what the body does when you approach a decision, what it does when you override it. Each dimension has prompts, space, and a practical integration exercise.
